Is there a way to disable automatic password save?

Here's the scenario:

I have an account at xyz.com and I want to change the password to be something strong, generated from 1password.

I go to their change password page and I use the password generator function from 1password to fill the password and confirm password fields.

On the first attempt, the site complains that I can't use symbols. So, I adjust the generator settings in 1password and try again.

This time, the password is too long. So, I once again adjust the generator settings in 1password and try again.

Now, the new password is accepted.

Only, in 1Password, I have 3 separate entries in the passwords category for xyz.com

So, I'd like a way to disable altogether the auto-capture of passwords in the passwords section of 1password.
