Can't apply my license file

I'm running 1Password v6.7.1 on a Mac. My company gave me a 1Pass***.onepassword-license file which I ran multiple times. Every time it says: "You are licensed!"

But under 1Password 6 > Preferences > Accounts
it says "Your 1Password account is in Trial mode", and my online Billing profile says:
You are trialing the Individual plan
You have 23 days remaining in your free trial.

How do I fix this and actually apply the license file?
