Searching tags in browser extension

Options

I've been tagging a number of my logins that have urls and titles that don't correspond to the purpose of the site. It looks like the browser extension does not search tags at all. I've tried this with fresh installs of the extension in all the major browsers.

Searching through the forums, the only relevant thread seems to be this one, but was abandoned. I can search by secure notes title successfully in extensions.

Is this a bug? If not, can it be a feature?

    Hello @looper,

    Welcome to the Forum!

To search for 1Password items by tag, you'll need to enable "Search All Fields" in the browser extension.
    1. Click the 1Password icon in your browser.
    2. Click the settings icon (⚙️).
    3. Click "Search All Fields", which will add a checkmark and remain set until switched back to "Search Major Fields".

You can also see all 1Password items by a specific tag by selecting the Tag menu under categories. Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

On behalf of Beyer, you're very welcome! I'm glad that was helpful. You should be all set now, but we're here for you if you need anything else. Cheers! :)
