Delay before you can login after filling login/password (chrome extension)

I'm using chrome extension to fill login/password on sites with shortcut Cmd+\ on Mac OS.

There is a significant delay (about half a second) after the login/password is filled and before you can hit Return to log in. If you hit the Return key before that, nothing happens.

This means that you can't just hit Cmd+\ and then Return, it must be Cmd + \, then wait, then Return.

UPD: After more experimentation I've found that this not steadily reproduced =(
I'll get back when I gather more statistics.
