Is it safe to store my secret key in 1Password?

The logical place to store my secret key would be a local 1Password vault. Is there anything that speaks against it?

    @chmars: It's safe. After all, someone would need your account credentials to get in there anyway! The only risk would be if you share your Master Password with someone. We recommend NOT doing that for a number of reasons, but in this case if they have your Master Password, they could enter it on one of your authorized devices to get your Secret Key there as well...but technically it's already in the app anyway, under Settings/Preferences > Accounts. Saving it in a Login item can be convenient though. So as long as you choose a long, strong, unique Master Password and safeguard it, you're all set. Cheers! :)
