Hi there,

is there a way to deauthorize a browser for usage with 1password website from an app, that is without authorizing another browser?

  • I do not see how this could be possible. You need to sign-in from the web browser to de-authorize another browser.

So I must have at least one browser authorized at all times?

If you want it so you need all 3 items to log in (email, master password, and secret key), delete the cookies and other data from the browser.

@jim_knop_123: Indeed, deauthorization happens on the server side, so yeah you won't be able to do that, but you can achieve the same result by clearing the browser's local storage for 1Password. That way if you try to sign back in from there, you'll need to enter everything again — nothing will be cached locally.
