You've been asking for my secret key. I can't find it. Now I'm signed out or locked out of 1 password. I have my app store receipt though... How do I get this sorted?

Welcome to the forum, @zfinkel! If you have an App Store or Mac App Store receipt for 1Password, then it sounds like you have purchased the standalone version of 1Password at some point in the past. If that's the case, then you won't have a Secret Key, as these are used only with 1password.com accounts, not standalone licenses.

Can you tell us what isn't working when you try to access your 1Password data? Where are you doing this - on the web? In 1Password for Mac?

I was getting a message saying my license had expired and I had to find and enter my key. On the web, I've been logged out, I can't find my account anywhere, even though I can log in on the web app and see my passwords. The extension doesn't work and says I need to log in which I need the key for, which I don't have. On my phone, it opens, but when I go to look at my account, it's asking for my key there too.

@zfinkel: Indeed, It sounds like you may be trying to login with a 1Password Account, but you will only have one if you've signed up for a 1Password.com membership. That’s the only way you’ll have a Secret Key or Sign In URL, or be able to access your data through 1Password.com. Instead, you can use 1Password without an account and sync your data from another device or create a new vault. You'll just need to install the app using the Apple ID where you purchased it.

"Purchasing" 1Password from the App Store for free will not, however, unlock all of its features; there will be an in-app purchase to do that, or you can sign up for a 1Password.com membership, to get all of the apps, the web interface, and not have to deal with with license management or sync configuration at all — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data. You can try it for free for 30 days to take advantage of all of its benefits.

I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
