transfer Version 3.8.22 (build 32010) to new macbook

Options

I'd like to keep using the older version on my new Macbook Air, is that possible?
And I still can't figure out to to transfer the data. I signed up for the 30 day trial membership but have no success..
Need some advice. Thanks.

    Hi there @JohnHchong,

Unfortunately, it isn't really possible. 1Password 3 is very old software and many of the technologies that it relied on are long since obsolesced. It is not stable and not supported on modern systems. You will need to upgrade to the modern 1Password if you want it to work reliably. Also, that membership won't work with 1Password 3 either. There's more information about it in this forum post:

    1Password 3 legacy support information

We have a great little guide you that outlines how to move your data from 1Password 3 to the current 1Password 6:

How to upgrade from 1Password 3 on your Mac

Once you've done that, you can migrate it over to a 1Password.com membership rather easily if that's what you'd like to do.

Either way, we're here to help you through it. :)
