Inconsistent Touch ID behavior

Touch ID requests seem inconsistent. I find I'm having to click on the fingerprint icon to initiate the Touch ID dialog window a lot more than with v6. For example, maximizing from the dock doesn't automatically prompt for Touch ID consistently.

    Yes—I agree with that. Although I have set, in beta 3 preferences, 1Password to request the master password once a week I, too, have frequently to click on the Touch ID 1Password icon to instigate access by Touch ID.

    1Password 7 is running on macOS 10.3.3 in my case.

    @mikeormerod, @Stephen_C: Thanks for reaching out about this! Just to clarify, it sounds like Touch ID is working for both of you, but you're having to click the icon to bring it up. Is that correct?

    @brenty Yes works but I have to click the icon more than with v6
