Distinguishing between the empty state and the loading state

When I use 1Password on iPad or iPhone, I find that for a brief second or so while it is loading my saved items, I see the "empty state" of the app, that tells me about how to add items to 1Password. It would be a better user experience if the empty state was distinguished from the loading state, and that they had different UI elements.
