I'm Having an Issue with Updating the 1Password Mac App to 6.8.8

Hello, I'm currently running build 6.8 and want to update to version 6.8.8. 1Password Updater launches and I click on the "Download Update" button.

A download progress bar appears and I click the "Update and Relaunch" button when it is finished.

The status changes to "Extracting Archive" but then it downloads the file again and resets the button to "Update and Relaunch." The update is stuck in a loop. How do I fix this?

Extension Version: 4.7.0
OS Version: 10.12.6
Sync Type: Drop Box

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble. You may have better luck downloading and running the installer directly:

https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.8.8.pkg

Thank you Ben. The direct download worked. I was able to upgrade to 6.8.8.
