    @aremirog: It sounds like the app is simply damaged, or Archive Utility (which is used to decompress the update is). Just drag 1Password to the Trash, restart your Mac, and install the latest version from the website:

    https://1password.com/downloads/

    The license isn’t stored in the app itself so that shouldn’t be necessary.
