Bought the app a few years ago and was able to keep installing it on new computers as I upgraded. Just got a new laptop and cannot find an installer for my version, only for the pay-each=month version which I don't need. I can still access my vault (which resides on DropBox) through my iPhone, iPad, and my old computer, but not through my new PC. Please help.

When you say "for my version", which version are you referring to? I assume you're using Windows?

    Hello @Igal01

Since you are referring to Windows, the version you are referring to that you purchased is probably 1Password 4. 1Password 4 is extremely old software, but if you still wish to use it, you can get it from https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPW4.

You can also use 1Password 7, if you wish, which just launched earlier this week. 1Password 7 is a paid upgrade, so you will need to either purchase a new license for it or, ideally, sign up for a 1Password membership. 1Password 7 is brand new and has a huge amount of benefits and upgrades over 1Password 4 which you can read all about over at https://support.1password.com/explore/whats-new-windows/. It's worth your time to take a look.

    Thanks, Corey.
    1. I understand that 1 Password 4 is old; is it any less safe? I don't care about features or bells or whistles, if it's just as safe as the new one, it's good enough for me.
    2. I have not found anywhere information about how much 1 Password 7 costs, only an opportunity for a free trial. Where can I find information about the price?
    Thanks

For now, I wouldn't say 1Password 4 is less safe. However, that may change. 1Password 4 is unlikely to get any further updates or changes as development time has shifted fully over to 1Password 7. Considering that 1Password is security software, it is wise to stay on the most recent version as possible as that is the one that will be receiving the updates, both security and otherwise.

    1. I have not found anywhere information about how much 1 Password 7 costs, only an opportunity for a free trial. Where can I find information about the price?

1Password 7 pricing is as follows: If you sign up for a 1Password membership, 1Password 7 (along with any future upgrades) is included with the membership, along with a whole host of over benefits. You can see more about pricing for a membership over at https://1password.com/sign-up/. All memberships come with a 30-day free trial so that is the best way to give 1Password 7 a spin if you'd like to.

Other pricing options for 1Password 7 are outlined in the release post for 1Password 7 for Windows on our blog over at https://blog.agilebits.com/2018/05/29/1password-7-for-windows-the-best-ever/.
