Plugin for FF no longer works on 1P7

Recently upgraded from 1P6 to subscribing to 1p7. Wasn't the smoothest of transitions but my passwords made it out the other end intact. Now my problem is that FF is showing the plugin installed but no UI for it. I have tried:

  1. restarting FF
  2. removing and reinstalling plugin
  3. restarting 1P7
  4. rebooting computer

Those have all been done multiple times in various orders but the UI still doesn't show up. Running latest FF and presumably latest 1P7.

What am I doing wrong? What haven't I tried?

Thanks in advance...

Any chance you have 1Password 7 installed in ~/Applications rather than /Applications? I did for my upgrade from 6 to 7, and that caused a few problems, including breaking the Firefox browser extension in exactly this way -- see discussion in another thread.

@DavidShepherdson as it turns out, either I'm an idiot or FF did something wonky. I ended up finding the plugin icon in the area where you customize the toolbars. I have no idea how it ended up there but luckily I was able to simply drag and drop it where I wanted it to live.

    Solid suggestion though. Thanks!
