1P 6.8.9 telling me I'm up-to-date. Proper way to upgrade?

I have 1P 6.8.9. I have been getting updates to V6 and just learned about V7. If I select Check for Updates I'm told I'm up-to-date. My app name is "1Password 6.app". To the best of my knowledge it's not an App Store purchase; it's not listed in my purchased apps.

Regardless, to purchase a license for V7 should I just download the app and follow the instructions as if it were an App Store purchase? FYI, I just manually converted to the OPVault format.
