Is it safe to rename an active vault?

Currently I access two 1Password accounts, each having one active vault called "Private".

What are the consequences of editing the vault name, especially regarding sync?
For example, are the Preferences for default write target updated?
And, if so, remotely as well on the system where the edit occurred?
And, if it not possible, what help can you give besides selecting using the sidebar? Maybe making familyName/vaultName part of the object display?

You actually can't change the name of those vaults, not on the server side. I think the app allows you to do it, but it won't actually effect anything server side as Private vaults cannot currently be renamed.
