How can I change a shared password?

Background:
I'm new to 1password and just setup a family account. I've added some of my passwords to a private vault and also added a few to a shared vault.

My question:
If I have a password that's shared between a private vault and shared vault and I change that password in the private vault, is there a way to automatically update it in the shared vault as well? I recently did just this and i'm seeing the updated password in my private vault but NOT the shared vault?

    There is not. There isn’t any link between items in one vault to items in another. Even if those items appear to be “the same” when you copy an item to another vault the new item is an entirely unique object as far as 1Password is concerned.

    In most cases it isn’t necessary to have an item stored in multiple vaults.
