MacOS repeatly crashes unlocking 1Password 7 with Touch ID on a MacBook Pro as soon as I touch the finger print reader key on the key pad.

The mouse is frozen, force quit doesn't work, there is no crash report, I have to power the Mac off to recover, this happens every time. If I cancel and enter the master password it works.

Welcome to the forum, @garyfcampbell! I'm sorry for the trouble -- that definitely doesn't sound good. In fact, it's such a stark error message that I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/?mac

Please add the following code (including the square brackets) to the Subject line of your diagnostics email before sending it:

    [#FVV-38362-235]

This will link your diagnostics to our current discussion. I'll take a look and let you know what I find out.

For anyone else reading, please note: this ID is for @garyfcampbell only. If you’re experiencing the same issue and need help, please ask us for your own ID.
