How to upgrade from Individual Plan to Family account?

How to upgrade from Individual Plan to Family account? I hv subscribed through iTunes and am in annual subscription mode. Obviously, I do not want to lose any data while upgrading.
I saw one post from 2016 asking to cancel current iTune subscription and make a new one. Will that not result in data loss?

    @SKUNDU: You won't lose data, and you can keep using that same account. You will need to cancel with Apple though so we can switch you over to managing your account through the website instead:

    Once you've done that, shoot us an email at support@1password.com from your account's registered address confirming you've done so. Post the Support ID you receive here and I'll be happy to guide you through the process. :)
