1Password credential in Windows 10 Credential Manager? Can I safely delete this?

When checking something completely not related to 1Password I noticed that the Windows 10 Credential Manager has a credential that starts with the text "1Password:" and then some gibberish. The username is empty, but a password is set and I have no clue to what. This entry is created somewhere in July of this year.

What can this be?

Is it safe to delete it?

1Password Version: 7.2.581
OS Version: Windows 10 (1809)
Sync Type: 1Password.com

    Hi @XIII,

    Thanks for writing in.

1Password stores your local device "cookie" in the credential manager that allows 1Password to sync with our service on that specific device only.

When you de-authorize the device, that cookie expires and 1Password will delete its internal database, it will not be able to sync without re-authorizing the device once more.

Yes, you can trash it safely if you want but you may be required to sign-in again to create a new cookie.
