Hi

In my Android app, when I access certain login records there is a big, purple message at the top saying that 2FA is available for this account but I have not set it up. However, I HAVE set it up for the account(s) in question. There is a link to set it up but when I go in there it asks me to log into the account, then set up 2FA, which of course it tells me that it is already set up. So I go back to the login record in 1Password and the big, purple message is still there.

How do I get rid of this messsage?

Alex

  • Hi @alexmidd. 1Password only knows you have it enabled if the TOTP secret is saved in 1Password using its built-in authenticator. https://support.1password.com/one-time-passwords/

If you're using another authenticator, add a '2FA' tag to those Logins to exclude them from the check.

Hi Peri, thanks for your reply.

OK, can you explain how I add a 2FA tag to the record as I have no idea what this is or how to add one.

    Thanks

    Alex
