Why can't I use Account Recovery if I convert from a Family Account to an Individual Account?

Hey @mren0830, thanks for writing in! The ability to recover users is only possible between members of an account. For example, in a Family account, the Family organizers can recover any members of the account. If you convert to an individual account, there is only one user on the account, and thus there is no one to recover.

Unfortunately, currently with an Individual account if your Master Password is forgotten, there is no way to recover your account. I'd highly recommend storing your Emergency Kit with your Master Password filled in somewhere safe, such as a safety deposit box.
