iOS 12 auto fill master password unlock, isn't unlocking the main iOS app

As title. Typing master password into the iOS 12s auto fill feature/overlay doesn't unlock the main app nor does it remember the next time you use the auto fill.

The share sheet works correctly and unlocks the app, but not the new feature.

    @CashMc,

    This sounds like correct behavior to me. iOS 12 Password AutoFill is not meant to store or fill your Master Password into the lock screen at all.

    @rudy Sorry I mustn't be clear.

    Unlocking 1Pasword in the autofill overlay using my master password doesn't unlock the main app and requires the master password time over time.

    It does if you use the share sheet function.

    @CashMc,

    Do you have Settings -> Security -> Lock on Exit turned on? if so then this is expected behavior.

    But why different behaviour to the share sheet overlay AND the main app?

    Works as expected ONCE master password has been entered into main app or share sheet.

    @CashMc,

    There's an iOS 12 bug that prevents us from maintaining some state when using AutoFill in applications other than Safari. We've filed it with Apple but its not clear if they'll have a fix in place before iOS 12 ships or not.
