One time password calculation buggy

Options

Since one of the new (beta) releases of 1Password - maybe the newest, I'm not entirely sure - for Windows the calculation for OTP seems not to work correctly: The codes differ from the iOS app where it works properly. Here's a small list of generated codes for a not longer in use secret (left: Windows, right: iOS, generated at the same time):

021717 114952
977165 273495
107586 092119
938854 730958
975129 806511
561271 433835
870757 534023
405486 241778
762696 328305
781174 067677

I've tried multiple of my services, fully closing the app, rebooting my PC, reinstalling 1Password (same Version).

Sorry if there's already a thread for this, I couldn't find any.

    Hi @X3phiroth,

Thank you for getting in touch!

One-time passwords are time-based, so if your time or regions settings are off, OTP will be different. Could you please check if you have the correct time settings and time zone set on your Windows PC? Thank you! :+1:

    Cheers,
    Greg

    Hi @Greg,

Sorry, I did that aswell. Both, iPhone and PC show the same time, at least right now.
...And now the Codes match aswell. I don't know why this occurred, but this seems to have been the problem.
Thanks for the fast response and sorry for the inconvenience..

I guess this can be closed/deleted.

    Hi @X3phiroth,

Maybe time setting were updated automatically? Anyway, I am glad to hear that the issue has resolved itself. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Thanks!
