Search differences between the main app and mini

A co-worker was just complaining to me that she can search by username in 1Password, but not 1Password mini. We share the item in question, so I was able to confirm this. After some testing, I’ve found:

  • Searching by username in mini appears to work for logins, but maybe not for other types? The item was a “Server”. We can find this server entry by username in the main app.
  • Searching includes tags in mini, but not he main app
  • Still no fuzzy search in mini? :'(

We’re just wondering how much of this intentional vs. bugs. Also, I see several references in other posts to a “Search All Fields” option in mini. Is that just the default now?

Note that all references to searching in the main app here are using the default search filed and not the advanced stuff you get with “Show Search Options”.

    Hi @Skurfer

    All working as designed for now, but that isn't to say that perhaps there isn't room for improvement in the future. Right now we do not have an option to "search all fields" in mini like we do in the main app.
