How do I get 1PW to ask if I want to save a pw that I put in for a website I visit?

I got a new pc and haven't been able to get my whole old history to transfer over. So, I am starting new. I have a standalone license. I used to be able to visit the website and put in the info (user id and pw) and immediately I would be asked if I want to save it in 1PW. Now nothing. I also need to know how to put the icon next to my info bar at the top where it used to be. It is only down on the lower part of my computer. So I am manually putting them in but I can't link them to the website to appear.

    Thank you fo getting in touch!

    Please make sure to install 1Password extension in the browser, as 1Password will not prompt you to save your Logins without it. 1Password extension is available for download here.
