Where does the Master Password go when entered?

Silly question, perhaps: Where does the Master Password go when I enter it on my computer to open 1Password? Does it stay in my computer or does it get sent over the Internet to the main 1Password computer?

    Hi @Bob406

    All decryption happens on your computer. All the 1Password server has in this regard is your encrypted data. The Master Password is never known by the server. :)
