Crash when write notes using Markdown

Edit new notes using Markdown. I.e.:

    Yes. This is clean installation of Catalina (with last updates on iMac 2013)

    Thank you for the confirmation. I have tried to reproduce this issue here but 1Password 7 never crashed when editing a note field (and I am using the same version as you are: 1Password 7.3.2 on Catalina).

    Does the same thing happen even after quitting 1Password completely and relaunching it? To do this, please right-click on 1Password mini in the menu bar and select Quit 1Password Completely.

    Quit 1Password completely — the same behaviour — crashed.

    I think I found conflict.

    I have global text substitution in System preferences: change two minuses to "em dash" (see screenshot below)
    If I remove this substitution -- everything in edit notes in 1Password is OK.

    (Except for the fact that when the option "Menu Edit -> Substitutions ->Smart Dashes " is turned on, a similar replacement of minus characters occurs. In a Markdawn, this is not necessary - this is a service/syntax sequence to make subheader, as you know)

    Thanks for letting us know, @dostrog. I'm trying to reproduce this issue and thus far have been unable to. I'll check with our QA team and see if they have any better luck. :)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    Hi @dostrog

    Our development team was able to reproduce this same crash with the Apple Notes app. As such it appears this may be a bug that has broader than just 1Password. We've filed a report with Apple.

    As you said my Notes crashed too. Sorry to my report to your team, should be reported to Apple.

    No worries! While it is a slight relief that it isn't a 1Password issue specifically, obviously it should still be fixed. :)
