Autofill to other apps removes passwords saved in the vault on 1password.com

I found 1Password's Autofill feature sometimes removes saved passwords in the vault on 1password.com.
Details is as follows:

  1. Make a new vault on 1password.com
  2. Make a new password entry, such as for Netflix
  3. Sync the vault and exit 1Password app on an Android device
  4. On the other device (iOS, Mac, etc.), change Netflix's password and save the new password to the vault
  5. Install Netflix app and start it on the Android device
  6. Search and Autofill Netflix's password by 1Password
  7. Netflix app rejects sign-in because the new password is not synced yet
  8. Exit Netflix app, start 1Password app, and sync the vault
  9. 1Password app doesn't import the new password from 1password.com to the vault and completely removes the new password saved on the other device to the 1password.com. No other passwords are saved on the vault except the initial password.

I hope this bug of Android app will be fixed as soon as possible.

  • Hi @roishi2j2. Thanks for reaching out to us with these steps.

I've tested this out on my end, and I'm not able to reproduce this bug. As launching 1Password from the Autofill prompt triggers a sync, I find that the new password has synced when I try to fill the Login. Further, after launching the main 1Password app, I'm still seeing the same new password.

Are you able to consistently reproduce this issue with the steps you provided, or is this something you noticed once?
