Use of second Second Passwort (YubiKey or 2fa) in login process

My goal is to get more security, in case my device is compromised somehow. So I would like to use a my YubiKey each time I am opening 1P. I activate already my 2FA and my YubiKey, but in most cases I did not have to use it. I tried it in my browser, OS App and IOS App. When exactly is the system asking me for my second security layer? I do not get it.

    Hi @1psupportneu!

    That is because, once your data is downloaded locally to your devices, there is no authentication involved. Your data is protected by your Secret Key and Master Password by encryption, so you will be prompted to use 2FA when you add your 1Password account on a new device.
