⌘+` hooked by 1Password

Hi,

I've just installed Mac OS X Lion for the first time on an old Mac. I've installed 1Password extension 3.8.7 on Safari 5.1.1 and unfortunately the keyboard shortcut ⌘+` opens the 1Password poplin. It used to switch between Safari windows (on a French Mac OS X at least). How can I revert that?

Thanks.

You can [re]set custom keyboard shortcuts in 1Password's preferences:

    http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/keyboard_shortcuts.html

The defaults are ⌘\ and ⌥⌘\ as shown in the screenshot there, but something else may be more convenient on a non-US keyboard. It is up to you. :)

If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. We are always here to help!

    Hi,

I'm on another Mac right now so I can't check if it works. But I think it won't. I have a similar problem on the Mac where I'm typing this message. In fact I don't want keyboard shortcuts at all so I've deactivated them : http://cl.ly/3k2b0x2o2Z3W2d242n19 I'm using 1Password Version 3.8.11 (build 31205)

But on Safari 5.1.2 + extension 3.8.7 and Chrome 15 (stable) + extension 3.8.8.38899 the keyboard shortcuts are still launching the popup :^)

There is not currently a way to disable the keyboard shortcuts. If they are "blank" then the defaults will be used. I would suggest just setting them to something completely obscure that you could never hit by accident if you wish to disable them. Something like ⇧^⌥⌘= would probably work well. :)

Of course, you could also just...um, not press ⌘\ or ⌥⌘\ if you don't wish to change the defaults... ;)
