1password is not scanning Protonmail's QR code to enable 2FA

has anyone else experienced this issue and found out how to resolve it? Ive tried to scan the QR code on the desktop app and iOS app and it does nothing.

    @orbitalpunk Thank-you for reporting this.

    I just tried this, with a new ProtonMail account. The QR code scanned fine, for me, with our iOS app, but not with our Mac app. I'll try to find out why.

    As a workaround: ProtonMail show an "Enter key manually instead" link. To use that:

    • click "Enter key manually instead" above the ProtonMail QR code
    • edit your ProtonMail item in 1Password for Mac
    • use the "field type" dropdown to create a new "One-Time Password" value
    • copy the key, and paste it into 1Password, and then save the item
