Can I use 1password to log into my macbook when it starts up? If not, I still need 2 passwords??

1password is great but can it be used in such a way to help log into my macbook when it starts up? If this is not the case, then I still need 2 passwords, 1 for my macbook and another to unlock my 1password.

I use 1password in my chrome browser (as the browser extension) and also as the app on my iphone 7.

    Hi @lighthouserich! Welcome to the forum!

    You cannot use 1Password to login to your operating system I am afraid. This is because 1Password is still not running when you get to the macOS login screen (you cannot run any apps until you login), so you will have to login before you have access to your apps, 1Password included.
