UI issue with SafariTP offering to fill texted codes

As seen in the linked screenmovie, the 1P UI interferes with SafariTP's offer to fill a texted code. The 1P entry that holds the password I'm trying to fill lies underneath the SafariTP "fill code" box. When I click on the right edge of the 1P entry, everything gets erased (note that I've already filled in the SafariTP-offered code on the first line where it says "One-time code".

  • Hi @HFTobeason

I'm very sorry for the delayed reply here. We now offer some preferences in the latest beta that may help with this. 1Password > Preferences > Browsers > UNcheck 'Automatically show inline menu when selecting a field'. Please try that and let me know how it turns out. :) While text-based 2FA is generally discouraged we understand that in some cases it is the only option and in those cases Safari's ability to fill from Messages.app is pretty darn handy. Hopefully changing that setting will do the trick for you.

    Ben
