1Password 7.7-Beta 4 and Safari 14 - not offering to save or update passwords

Hi there. I hope I landed in the right location.

I'm on Safari 14 Beta with the latest 1Password. Everything works except that 1password seems to not be asking me to save new passwords or update them if I change my login info. In preferences, I made sure that I have always keep 1Password extension running, Detect new usernames and passwords, and of course rebooted to make sure it wasn't anything like that.

Don't know if this a known issue, didn't seem to get a hit in the search. I realize I'm in a double beta, just wanted to bring it to your attention.

  • Hi @RobertSfeir! This is a known issue with the 1Password 7.7-Beta, and we are looking into it. As a workaround, use the Save in 1Password button in the new inline menu (you may need to scroll down) to save and update logins until we get this patched up.
