Hi guys,
Would it be possible (technically and feasibly) to add a feature to unlock a browser-based vault using the built-in fingerprint scanner on most newer laptops?
It would be very useful, when unlocking 1Password X vault in the browser, if we could use something other than our main password.
Thanks!
Best wishes,
Jason

This was in beta as Desktop App Integration, which was removed temporarily to be replaced by a new implementation later this year.

Indeed, as pittn mentioned, we're planning on integrating 1Password X with the 1Password 7 desktop app, which would allow it to utilize Touch ID on Macs, and Windows Hello on Windows systems, and unlock using fingerprints.

If your Windows Hello allows you to unlock the computer with the fingerprint scanner, then you will be able to unlock 1Password with it as well, when it is released :)
