I want to change master password but confused by instructions

I want to change master password but there are two sets of instructions, one for those with a 'standalone vault' and one for those without. Does having a Family account therefore a shared vault and a private vault mean I have a standalone vault or not? Confused by the terminology.

    Does having a Family account therefore a shared vault and a private vault mean I have a standalone vault or not?

    Standalone vaults are vaults that are stored outside of a 1Password account. If you have a Families account, you should not have standalone vaults.

    If you want to check this however, please open your 1Password app and check your vault list. Do you see a vault named Primary there? If you do not see a vault with this name, then you don't have standalone vaults :)
