Language setting goes back to system default after restart the app

I'm using the 1Password app in language which is different from the system default by the command:

defaults write com.agilebits.onepassword7 AppleLanguages '("en-US")'

and run the app. This works without any problems.
But after that, if I reboot the Mac or do 'Quit 1Password Completely' from the status bar icon, the above language setting is gone and switches back to the system default language.

Is there any workaround for this problem?

Although I don't insist that you implement any language switching feature with fancy GUIs (though it would be great if you do), please make the app not to erase the custom settings.

Hi @clint_k! Welcome to the forum!

I don't believe that this is a supported way to change the language, and so the setting does not remain after a reboot. By default, 1Password for Mac uses the system language. But I have sent your question to the developers in any case :+1:
