    Welcome to the 1Password Support Community. 1Password 7 requires either a 1Password membership or a 1Password 7 license. Membership is the recommended way forward. You can read more about that here:

    If you have a 1Password 7 license, 1Password for Mac must be downloaded from our website (not the App Store). The App Store version is compatible with memberships only. I hope that helps!
