My husband and I each have 1Password accounts. His on PC, mine Mac. How do we merge or access?.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'd be happy to help with this. So I can point you in the best direction could you please let me know what the desired outcome is? Are you looking to:

• Eliminate paying for two individual memberships and instead pay for 1Password Families, and share some but not all data or
• Have a single individual membership that both of you would use and have access to all of the same data

With 1Password Families you'd have a single membership, but inside that membership you would each have your own account. For each account there would be a Personal vault, which nobody else can see (cannot be shared). Additionally there would be a built-in Shared vault, which by default everyone in the family has access to. Beyond that it is possible to create additional shared vaults which are accessible to one or more select family members. That way you and your husband would each be able to have your own account on your own computer, but you'd only be paying for one membership, and you would be able to share data if desired.

If you'd like to move forward with that, please try these steps:

1. Invite your husband to create a 1Password account within your 1Password Families membership: https://support.1password.com/add-remove-family-members/
   I would recommend that he do this from a web browser on his computer (e.g. not a mobile device) and be sure he prints his Emergency Kit in the process. If you don't have an Emergency Kit for yourself now would be a good opportunity to print one. :)
2. Have him add the newly created account to 1Password for Windows on his PC, alongside his existing account: https://support.1password.com/get-the-apps/
3. Move the data from the existing account to the new account within your family membership: https://support.1password.com/move-copy-items/
4. Move any items you want to share into either the built-in Shared vault or create and share new vaults as appropriate: https://support.1password.com/family-sharing/
5. At this point, once it has been verified that all data has been moved into the 1Password Families membership, your husband's old account can be deleted: https://support.1password.com/delete-account/
