Save login does not use Finger print to unlock. Asks for password.

Hi everyone
Using iPassword on my MacBook Pro 16".
Every time I want to login to a site, clicking on the 1P extention and finger print unlock dialog comes up and with finger print I unlock it.

When it comes to saving new logins, 1Password never displays finger print unlock and instead always shows password unlock dialog box,
Why?
Is everyone else seeing this? Or just me?
Is this just a missing feature?
I fails to see the security aspect in this flow. Why not allow user to finger print unlock and save the new Login?

  • @nashmrkt,

This is correct, the save login prompt doesn't currently have a lock screen on it that supports biometry. Its something I would like to add, but I keep ending up on different things.

Please add. That’s one reason why I don’t save all passwords. Too lazy to type my password.
