ad pops up for one password

when using password mini on Catalina 10.15.7 on iMac, an ad window pops up to sign up/in for one password . very annoying. It didn't do that on my recently retired MacBook Pro with Catalina

Where did you install 1Password from? If it's the Mac App Store, that version does not support licenses, and you would see the prompt to add a membership.n If that's the case, you would want to switch over to our website version where you would not experience this behavior, because it does support our licenses.
