Does Trial Account have a Secret Key? I cannot find mine.

I have 1Password app version 7.7 on my iPhone and have had it for years. I have been trying to get these transferred to my computer. It is asking for my Secret Key to log in on my computer which I follow directions and cannot find on my iPhone. Do free trials not have a secret key? Maybe that was why I cannot find one. I do have a 1 Password Folder saved on a Dropbox file with an agile key chain file.

A Secret Key is only used with 1Password.com memberships. Are you using a membership? If not, then no you would not have a Secret Key.

You would need to configure 1Password to us the vault on Dropbox if that's how you are syncing. https://support.1password.com/sync-with-dropbox/

A 1Password membership is the best possible method moving forward. I would encourage you to look it over.

If I get the membership then I assume I will be able to transfer all of my passwords without a Secret Key? They have been asking for it and I do not have one.

If you sign up for a membership during the account creation process, a Secret Key will be generated and provided for you to download. That Secret Key is only available from within your account or one of the apps that have your account associated with it. You would need to ensure it is stored safely. I keep mine stored in a floor safe for safekeeping.

@ag_tommy Awesome, I always thought I had a subscription because they kept asking for the Secret Key to login. Once I became a member on my iPhone where the app was, everything transferred over seamlessly. From there I had the Secret Key and was able to create a login on my computer. I feel much better now having the information saved and secure. It was frightening to have all of the generated passwords and not being able to have them backed up and accessible.
