    Since I updated to Big Sur I'm not able to activate 2FA using the QR Code.
    The QR code screen appears in grey instead of letting me point it to the QR code in the app.
    Any known issue?
    Thanks

    Hi @shortyhouse! Welcome to the forum!

    The QR code screen appears in grey instead of letting me point it to the QR code in the app.

    Can you please post a screenshot of this?

    @shortyhouse:

    I cannot see the screenshot in your post. Is it showing up for you?

    Weird, when I clicked on the image it pasted a URL that I cannot see in my previous post now

    The screen is gray. However, if I press the button to switch the camera I can see myself, so it's not a problem from the webcam.
    Dropping the QR code as indicated, doesn't do anything.

    @shortyhouse:

    Thank you! I see the screenshot now :+1: It looks like 1Password does not have permissions to access your camera. Can you confirm that 1Password is allowed under macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Camera?

    No, since if I switch the camera I can see myself.
    Here's the proof it is selected

    @shortyhouse:

    What version of the 1Password app are you currently running? And is it from the Mac App Store or our own website? (I ask because the Mac App Store version of the app does not support QR scans anymore since an Apple change, so I wonder if that's the reason at this point).

    Apparently, it's the Mac App Store version that should be renewed today.!
    However, the renewal information is in your website and not in my Apple ID Account
    I use 1Password for years (version 4, I think) and I remember I had both versions. What should I do before I get incorrectly charged? I even have a credit when signing into your website.

    Apparently, I have both. since I just got the notification from the App Store for an update, but I can download it from your website as well.

    Should I uninstall the one I have and reinstall the one from your website?

    And how will I make sure I don't get charged twice?

    Indeed, that's what I imagined by reading your last email.
    I uninstalled the one I had and reinstalled the one from your website.
    It is now working fine.
    My question now it to make sure I will not be charged twice today.

    @shortyhouse:

    If you have an active 1Password subscription through us already (which is the case since you received an invoice). Unless you signed up for an additional subscription through the Mac App Store, you won't be charged twice. With an active subscription, you can download the app from the Mac App Store or from our website, depending on your preference.

    I reinstalled it yesterday from your website and it is working now.
    Indeed it was also available in the AppStore.
    Anyway, it is working fine now. Thanks!
