It has worked well until a couple of days ago; now touch ID won't work. In Preferences, the box for touch ID is now empty, and I can't check it - it won't accept the checkmark. Touch ID is set up on my Mac. ( I am running the latest version of Password (1Password Version 7.7 (70700015)) which the program tells me is up to date. I am running Mojave on a MacBook Pro. )

    Can you try the following?

    1. Open System Preferences > Touch ID: Uncheck/disable the box for unlocking your Mac and then enable it. You will need to enter your macOS user password in the authentication prompt.
    2. Verify/enable Touch ID in enabled in 1Password.
