Uninstalled Chrome & Edge extension no longer works

I was running both Chrome and Edge with the 1P browser extensions working fine on both browsers. Upon uninstalling Chrome, the extension no longer works in Edge. Behavior is the same on two different Macs, one running Catalina and the other on Big Sur. Removing and reinstalling the extension in Edge doesn't resolve.

    Hi @c224!

    I wonder if what you are seeing is similar to this forum discussion. Can you try the suggestions there and see if they help?

    @ag_ana Yes, it was the same issue as the thread you linked and it helped me get it working in Edge now. I had to recreate ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/NativeMessagingHosts. I nuked ~/Library/Application Support/Google entirely (and purposely) when I uninstalled Chrome.
