A step by step guide for Updating Passwords

I have been avoiding using 1Password because I thought it might be complicated. But I signed up anyway! I just would love a step by step guide on getting started. I have quite a few compromised passwords and would really like to get this issue resolved over the holiday break. I love the idea of having 1 Master password, I'm struggling with understanding if this means I still have to change all these "compromised" passwords now that I have 1Password... HELP!

It might not post immediate risks, but I highly recommend you change your passwords and make them stronger. 1Password can assist you with the tedious process and make it more bearable.
