1password issues with macOS

So I am suddenly seeing sketchy behaviors.
1. In Safari (Version 14.0.2 (15610.3.7.1.10, 15610)) 1password keeps locking before I can choose any selection. To be clear, I unlock 1password, nothing is found, 1password locks immediately.
2. In Chrome 1password is locking immediately despite settings .

  1. I rebooted the mac.
  2. I killed 1password processes.
  3. I reinstalled 1password.

    You may also want to check your lock settings for 1Password X.

    Thanks @ag_tommy the settings are right. Every so often I seem to have to toggle the settings to get them to work again though.

    That's odd. Have you noticed if there is any correlation between when a new version of 1Password X is released? Maybe even an update of your browser? I sometimes experience oddities with my extensions if the browser has not been restarted after an update. I am talking about you, Chrome. Luckily for me, that has not been an issue with 1Password. Perhaps it's because I have become a perpetual app quitter. I also tend to restart more often now.

    Please let us know if you can nail it down or reproduce the behavior.

    I'll keep my eyes open, @ag_tommy and report anything that is relevant. It is an intermittent issue so hard to reproduce reliably.
