Should I create new passwords for my accounts before setting up 1password?

Maybe I'm missing the point of 1Password - but do I change my existing passwords on my websites, like a bank before I start using 1password?

    I would suggest that you start using 1Password and allow our password generator to create truly random passwords for you. The best passwords are those that are not thought up in our heads.

    I’m just concerned that if allow 1password to assign the passwords, that I will “lose control” of my passwords.
    I’m not a technophobe, but this is a bit of a leap of faith. The old All your eggs in one basket idea.

    You can always view, edit and update any password that 1Password generates for you. Ultimately, you will always be the one who is in control of your passwords :)
