Disable or speed up the "unlock" animation!

For an app that's intended to make things quick and convenient but that also is necessary to interact with many times per day as it pops up when you're trying to get something done, that unlock animation is maddening! It's so unnecessary and wastes time. Imagine if every web page you visited had a little animation before it loaded, it would drive you nuts. Please, can there at least be a setting to disable it so we can just go about our business as quickly as possible without superfluous eye candy animations?

In case it's not clear, I'm talking about that keyhole logo animation where it turns and "opens up".
